I’m still pinching myself as it’s all been so surreal, to have been given such an absolute privilege to photograph Jess & Cody’s stunningly beautiful wedding in Washington DC. It was definitely a first of many for me, and something I’ve dreamt of for such a long time; visiting America for the first time, as well as my first destination wedding outside Asia!

In keeping with the couple’s impeccable tastes, the styling was minimalist Scandinavian inspired with fern, blush & ivory colours with luxurious gold accents; gorgeously put together by the amazing team from  Caroline Dutton Events (Wedding Planner),  Meridian House (Wedding Venue) and Wild Green Yonder (Floral Designer).

A truly intimate wedding reserved for the closest friends & relatives, most of whom travelled long distances to be there for this jet-set couple at this special day of their lives together, the atmosphere was a relaxed cosy one filled with so much emotion, laugher and romance.

Given the chance, I would fly back to the US & do it all over again in a heartbeat, as in my 3 weeks there I’ve grown to love the people & places I’ve visited. It really is just an amazing blessing to be able to combine my love for photography & people with travel & adventure, & I thank God everyday for being able to do this.
